Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Slumberland Furniture is currently hiring Warehouse Workers for immediate positions. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of merchandise, including storage, distribution, and handling customer orders. Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within the warehouse to optimize space utilization.
• Handle merchandise for display, storage, delivery, and shipment.
• Use the point of sale (POS) system to manage inventory flow.
• Lead by example and provide training to colleagues.
• Ensure accurate handling of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety policies and practices for risk reduction.
• Perform grounds and building maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or working towards a GED.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with a POS system is desirable.
