Trach/Vent Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Trach/Vent Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring patient safety.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinate and provide quality patient care following physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
• Document all care activities, assessments, and responses promptly.
• Develop and update nursing care plans accordingly.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments for optimal outcomes.
• Recognize changes in patient needs and intervene to prevent risks.
• Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and care techniques.
• Maintain nursing competencies through educational programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

• Six months recent clinical care experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Home health experience.
