Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Technician, Field Service IV to join Canon Solutions America, Inc. in a temporary, project-based role. As part of our team, you will provide operational, maintenance, and networking support to customers, ensuring seamless technical expertise for Canon products. This position requires 4 to 6 years of experience and expertise in supporting Canon products.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, software, network, and system failures according to established procedures.
- Service and maintain designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
- Prepare reports on product failure trends and service ability issues for analysis.
- Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive maintenance services.
- Maintain technical information, reports, and Canon property.
- Provide guidance to less experienced engineers and solutions for escalated technical problems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Canon Solutions America Field Service Technician.
- Expertise in supporting Canon products including toner and ink jet based printers.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance standards for technical quality and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel, work in a 24x7 environment, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Capability to lift 50 lbs and engage in mobile activities more than 50% of the time.
