Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure the store's impeccable appearance.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following cleaning and safety procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
