Store Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, your main responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our valued customers. This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with care.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers in their retail experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, report product issues, and provide feedback to enhance store operations.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold data security standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and ensuring store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently or in a team environment.
• Compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prior retail experience and high school diploma preferred.
