Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Store Team Members at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ALDI’s M.A.P. guidelines
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical demands and adhering to safety standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
- Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
