Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join us at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining store operations by handling merchandise, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Position Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$17.00 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
• Follow security and confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Able to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
