Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store maintains a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment, all while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
