Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains its high standards and provides exceptional customer service.

Starting Wage

$16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTS Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
• Deliver top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate openly with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Follow company procedures to safeguard data and documents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient multitasker.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
