Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and handle data confidentially
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills
• Ability to operate store equipment safely and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
