Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, prioritize security, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Ability to follow cleaning standards and company procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
