Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and scanning accuracy to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
