Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in the store's operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service will help enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide excellent service.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, follow cash handling procedures, and uphold company policies.
• Contribute to store inventory counts and report any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years to work at ALDI.
• Proficiency in customer service and operating a cash register.
• Ability to use store equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Combination of education and relevant experience is considered.
