Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in the daily operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register, equipment, and general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages based on state and local regulations
