Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store remains organized, well-stocked, and customer-friendly. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash management procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient cashier with a focus on customer service.
• Skilled in operating equipment and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol sales.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior retail work experience (preferred).
• Combination of education and experience equivalent.
