Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. This full-time position involves various responsibilities, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the team
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of meeting cleaning standards and following company policies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus
