Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of the store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including cashiering, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and provide feedback to store management.
  • Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and adhere to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
  • Meet state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous.
  • A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
