Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate feedback to management.
• Follow inventory procedures and ensure accuracy in stock count.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize errors and losses.
• Comply with company policies and maintain the confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to handle physical demands and fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
