Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. behaviors consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Experience in retail is preferred.
