Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with the team. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold data security.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a clean store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
