Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Contribute to inventory management and follow cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting physical demands and adhering to company policies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
