Job Description
As a Store Operations Assistant at ALDI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate key competencies, and uphold company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize losses.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older with excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies accurately.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- High school diploma preferred with retail experience.
