Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and keep the store environment tidy.
• Work closely with colleagues and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and contribute to maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Adhere to company policies, follow cash procedures, and ensure data security and confidentiality.
• Participate in inventory counts and support inventory accuracy.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Skills in operating equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is beneficial.
