Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly with attention to detail.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
