Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will play a vital role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Role Overview

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Assist in inventory management and contribute to loss prevention efforts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Capacity to work independently and in a team setting
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is advantageous
