Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and stock shelves neatly.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide top-notch customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, provide feedback on products, and adhere to cash handling policies.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Ability to operate a cash register, equipment, and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to meet physical demands of the job.
