Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers, communicate with team members, and provide feedback to management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Comply with company policies and procedures while prioritizing security and confidentiality
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and operating equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficiency in customer service and cash register operations
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Satisfy state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
