Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the Aldi team. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment, all while providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
