Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a neat and organized store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store by stocking shelves and displaying merchandise neatly.
  • Assist customers in their shopping experience, providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and report any issues to management promptly.
  • Participate in inventory management tasks and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
  • Execute general cleaning tasks according to standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to operate a cash register accurately.
  • Capability to handle equipment such as floor scrubbers and jacks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask efficiently.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
