Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store. Your focus on delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
- Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
