Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stroke care to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of our exceptional team of Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurses, you will have the opportunity to work with various patient populations, including those with Neurological diagnoses, Transplant patients, and more.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Anticipate and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate discharge planning and interdisciplinary care efforts.
- Promote patient safety and provide patient education tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Wisconsin and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated skills in patient care, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.
