Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Staff Psychologist specializing in Child Psychiatry to join our dynamic team. The Staff Psychologist will provide psychological services to patients in various clinical settings, contribute to program development, and support organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in multicultural psychology and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological services in inpatient psychiatric, medical-surgical, or rehabilitation units, emergency department, outpatient programs, and clinics.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, clinical assessments, psychotherapy, staff consultation, supervision, and program development.
- Engage in multidisciplinary organizational initiatives and program evaluation.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-licensure experience in clinical psychology.
- Background in health psychology preferred, experience in academic health care desired.
