staff - Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - $32-52 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg to join Advocate Aurora Health in Grafton, Wisconsin. In this role, you will assist RNs with daily patient care activities, document patient data accurately, perform various patient care tasks, and maintain infection prevention practices. The position requires a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and registration as a Nurse Aide. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent to qualify for this position. Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with daily patient care tasks.
• Document patient data accurately in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
• Assist in maintaining patient hygiene and skin integrity.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and demonstrate knowledge of sterile procedures.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
