Specialty Sales Consultant (Indiana North)

Job Description

We are looking for a Specialty Sales Consultant based in Indiana North to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines. As the Specialty Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products to healthcare professionals within a designated territory, implementing marketing strategies, and achieving sales goals. This position reports to a Regional Sales Manager within The Sleep Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals products and indications.
• Achieve individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Organize and facilitate meetings for medical information exchange.
• Analyze prescribing trends in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet healthcare professionals' needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Promote a positive image of Jazz Pharmaceuticals and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably with specialist sales experience.
• Strong relationships with healthcare professionals in the designated territory.
• Experience in therapeutic sales, particularly in Sleep and Central Nervous System.
• Knowledge of product and disease states, managed care, and launch strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Education and Licenses

• Four-year college/university degree required; post-graduate business training preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequent travel and operation of office equipment.
• Carrying materials during sales calls.

Work Environment

• Interactions with external contacts in office settings.
• Computer use in live and virtual settings.
• Flexible work hours may be required.
