Senior Mortgage Lender

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Senior Mortgage Lender to join Civista Bank and contribute to our mission of enhancing the financial well-being of our employees and communities. In this role, you will be responsible for originating first mortgage loans, building relationships with referral partners, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to engage referral partners and solicit mortgage loans.
• Assist customers with loan applications and documentation.
• Educate clients on underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Analyze loan requests and propose suitable options.
• Maintain awareness of industry regulations and compliance.
• Participate in community activities to promote the bank and its programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Mortgage Lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of banking practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

This role involves occasional travel and the ability to work independently.
