Senior Director, Pharmacometrics (Remote)

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Director, Pharmacometrics to provide strategic leadership in the design, oversight, analysis, and reporting of pharmacometrics programs supporting compounds in oncology. This is a remote position with diverse responsibilities including clinical pharmacology, PK, and PD activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and implement pharmacometrics-related drug development plans and regulatory filings
• Apply model-informed drug development principles and guide decision-making
• Hire, develop, and retain key talents, ensuring a high-performance operating culture
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, manage budgets and objectives for the pharmacometrics team
• Represent Jazz as a thought leader in pharmacometrics and participate in regulatory interactions
• Contribute to evaluating potential in-licensing candidates and other ad-hoc duties as needed

Requirements

• PhD in relevant field with 12+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience
• Expertise in PK/PD, exposure-response, and disease modeling using software like NONMEM and R
• Prior experience in applying model-informed drug development in various therapeutic areas
• Track record of successful regulatory interactions, NDAs/BLAs, and publications
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in oncology preferred, must embody Jazz Pharmaceuticals core values

Compensation

This role offers a base pay range of $220,000-$330,000, with additional benefits such as annual cash bonus, equity grants, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and flexible paid vacation.
