Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative work with the ALDI team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills guidelines.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness in the store, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support customer shopping needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years old, possess strong customer service skills, and have the ability to operate a cash register efficiently. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team environment. Prior experience in a retail setting is preferred.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, along with previous work experience in retail. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
