Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professional behaviors outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers throughout their experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory management and follow cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while safeguarding documents and data.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operations.
• Capable of operating equipment and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
