Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As the Care Team Nurse, you will be the clinical leader responsible for managing high-risk and chronically ill patients, providing education to patients and families, and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in infection control and age-appropriate care for pediatric patients.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and socio-economical needs of clients and families.
• Provide urgent care, perform triage, and document nursing care accurately using EMR.
• Facilitate communication among healthcare professionals and families.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures efficiently.
• Maintain ongoing education and training in pediatric care.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a care team.
• Proficiency in handling sensitive medical information and HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and adherence to ANA Standards of Practice.
