Job Description
Unit Description: Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is a skilled nursing residence focused on providing personalized care and support for individuals in need of post-acute services. The Post Acute Unit at UVMHN Helen Porter is committed to offering specialized care to help patients recover and regain independence following surgery or hospitalization. Our team works with a variety of medical conditions, including strokes, neurological disorders, orthopedic care, respiratory conditions, cardiac issues, and post-trauma situations. Therapy services are provided to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey, with nursing staff extending support when needed.
We are currently looking to fill multiple positions with flexible schedules to accommodate different needs:
- 72hrs per pay period 10:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. (9 8-hour overnight shifts every 2 weeks)
- 48hrs per pay period 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. (6 8-hour shifts every 2 weeks as Charge Nurse, +$3.00 per hour)
- 24hrs per pay period 6:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. (8 4-hour shifts every 2 weeks)
- 72hrs per pay period 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. (6 12-hour overnight shifts every 2 weeks)
- 24hrs per pay period 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.(6 12-hour overnight shifts every 2 weeks)
We offer competitive incentives such as up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus and hourly shift differentials. On-call duty is not required, and per diem opportunities are available.
