Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care through the nursing process, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes for our patients. In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide patient education, and maintain professional standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established protocols.
• Deliver compassionate and empathetic care to patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay updated on nursing practices.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York State.
• Prior mental health experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to meet physical screening requirements.
• No record of Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or maltreatment in New York State.
