Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother & Baby Unit at UVMMC within The University of Vermont Health Network. The unit provides comprehensive post-partum care, education, and lactation consultation to families after birth. This role involves caring for patients, supporting breastfeeding, and assisting with the transition to motherhood.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Mother & Baby Unit.
• Offer lactation support and consultation to new mothers.
• Assist with newborn care and education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Vermont.
• Prior experience in post-partum care and lactation support is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
