Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and standards. The RN will serve as a patient advocate, offering teaching, counseling, and emotional support to patients and families. In addition to direct patient care, responsibilities include oversight of assigned nursing personnel and adherence to the Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- One year of experience required to be proficient in all duties.
