Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Vascular Care Unit. As an RN, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for post-procedural extended recovery and/or observational patients. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes while maintaining professional standards and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the Cardiac Vascular Care Unit.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient education and support.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification, ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm and Critical Care courses within 3 to 6 months.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
