Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care to patients, utilizing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. As a Staff Nurse II, you will play an integral role within nursing and multidisciplinary teams, offering direct patient care, education, and continuity of care during and post-care transitions.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• The University of Vermont Medical Center is transitioning to an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce.
• Candidates must obtain their BSN as stated in the offer letter.
• Relevant experience in a specific clinical area, with a preference for oncology experience.
• More than one year of professional experience.

Incentives

• On-call duty not required.
• External candidates with at least 1 year of experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles).
