Job Description
Join our team at Gentiva Hospice as a Registered Nurse - On Call and make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. As part of our compassionate team, you will provide direct patient care services after normal business hours on an on-call basis, maintaining primary control and professional management of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and supportive services on an on-call basis.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient and family needs and assist in the execution of care plans.
- Maintain patient clinical records and participate in quality assessment programs.
Requirements
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology preferred.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to patient care.
