Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at The University of Vermont Health Network. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients, act as a patient advocate, deliver education and emotional support to patients and their families, and adhere to hospital policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in compliance with hospital policies and approved care plans.
- Offer emotional support, counseling, and education to patients and families.
- Oversee and guide assigned nursing personnel.
- Adhere to the Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- Minimum one year of experience to demonstrate proficiency in all responsibilities.
Additional Information
- On-call duties may be required.
- $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
