Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care services and support to patients and their families. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and supportive services to hospice patients.
- Act as the primary liaison between physicians, patients/families, and the hospice team.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of care.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the care plan.
- Maintain accurate patient clinical records and participate in quality assessment programs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of requested employment or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
