Job Description
Gentiva Hospice, a member of the Gentiva family and an industry leader in hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services to hospice patients, supporting their families, and managing an interdisciplinary group to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to hospice patients and their families.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the care plan.
- Maintain accurate patient clinical records.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
