Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services, managing an interdisciplinary group, evaluating patient needs, and maintaining patient clinical records. You will act as a primary liaison between physicians, patients, and families, ensuring the highest quality of hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to their families.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient and family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of care plans.
- Maintain all assigned patient clinical records accurately.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy towards patients and families.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or eligibility to obtain one.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
